DAY 01 : AIRPORT / COLOMBO
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, met by "Spelndidsrilanka" Representatives and transfer to Hotel in Colombo.

p.m. City Tour and Shopping

CITY TOUR AND SHOPPING
The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist Hindu Temple and Town Hall.

Shopping
Shopping at Odel, House of Fashion, Bare foot etc.

Overnight stay at hotel in Grand Oriental Hotel..

DAY 02 : COLOMBO / KANDY
After Breakfast, leave for Kandy.

En route visits Elephant Orphanage Pinnawala.

ELEPHANT ORPHANGE
The foster – home of elephants of different age and size feeding, bathing, playing together and even mating. These have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. There are even little baby calves born in captivity.

SPICE GARDENS
Visit a spice garden at mavanella which grows spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted the early sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase this precious merchandise.

P.m. Visit art and craft centre and Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally done

Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Kandy.

DAY 03 :KANDY / HILL COUNTRY
After Breakfast leave for Peradeniya.

BOTANICAL GARDEN
En-route visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya. Which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime

enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural Show of Drumming Dancing music and fire walking.

TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC
Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic.

Sight seeing of kandy including Upper Lake Drive.

Overnight stay at Hotel Suisse in Kandy.

DAY 04 :KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Nuwara Eliya.

NUWARA ELIYA
Nuwara Eliya, the misty city is located over 6000 feet above sea level.
The drive will be through refreshing Tea Plantations covering the hills like carpets and cascading waterfalls to mesmerize you.

TEA FACTORY
Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory en route. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” adding cheer to many the world over for more than a century.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows
and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”)

CITY TOUR AND SITA AMMAN TEMPLE
Leave for Sight Seeing of Nuwara Eliya which includes visits to the 18 Hole Golf course and Sita temple where King Rawana kept Sitadevi.

Overnight stay at Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 05 : NUWARA ELIYA
Breakfast at Hotel .Leave for Worlds End ( Horton Plains)
This is Optional Tour.

HORTON PLAINS
Located in the highest plateau of Sri Lanka at an elevation of 7,000 feet above sea level. Usually the plains are visible before 10 a.m. as otherwise the mist covers the view. The highlight of the Plains is the terrific escarpment which drops vertically for about 1,000 feet. On a very clear day, one could view the east horizon too.
Rare species of fauna and flora are found here. This Plains was once the hunting ground for the British Governor Mr. Farr. Today the home of Mr. Farr has been turned into a Rest House and is called “Farr Inn”.

DAY 06 : NUWARA ELIYA / INDURUWA
Breakfast at Hotel.
Proceed to Bentota via Kithulgala.
View to beauty of two water falls St.clairs fall and Devon Fall.

Next visit the Film site of “Bridge of The River Kwaii”

Proceed to South Coast Beach .
En route visit the Turtle Hatchery and stilt fishing..

At leisure – Beach Stay with many choices of spending your time. Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere.
Lazing on a Sun deck reading a book of you choice, and sipping a cool fresh tropical fruit drink of pine apple, Mango, Banana.
Water skiing, Wind Surfing, Snorkeling or cutting through the choppy on a jet water scooter and much more….

Overnight stay at Hotel Induruwa.

DAY 07 : INDURUWA / AIRPORT
Breakfast at Hotel and leave for Airport for departure.

Proceed to Airport.
